Come to cook. Stay and eat.

Roll up your sleeves, put on an apron, and prepare a delicious meal alongside Lauren Garaventa* as she shares with us the history of the foods we'll be making and how it feeds our souls. 

We'll spend the day making a soul- and belly-filling meal while learning the history, sources, and meanings of the dishes and ingredients.

We will begin cooking and learning at 10:00 AM, and will end the day with a family-style meal at 6:00 PM.

Space is limited to 10 participants. 
$150 per person. Includes lecture, food preparation, and feasting. Scholarships available: contact for more information.

*Lauren is a chef, a butcher, and a food expert. She is the creator of the Meat and Noodle Soup Club and the new Ruby Brink on Vashon. Her passion is food--its authenticity, source, history, and the care given to raising farm animals.
