Hestia people like to take time together in good company, meet new friends and get to know each other better. We like to relax and enjoy feeding the flame around the fireplace, and warm up the mid-winter grays. At Hestia, feed the flame is a tagline for taking care of your inner spirit and supporting each other through community. We love deepening and expanding the circle, and invite you and your friends to this little friendraising, flame-feeding get together at Valerie's house. You'll feel comfy and convivial and may catch a vista of the Olympics if the clouds allow.
We thought about what matters most to us in nourishing our organization, and while fundraising is a ceaseless part of any non-profit, friends are the essential ingredient to a healthy circle, and to growing a group that values wholehearted, lighthearted, openhearted inner development and inclusive connection. We encourage feminine spirit in the world, and in each person, because we feel its positive effects for all. Caregiving, self-care, and a caring community are interconnected. Keeping the balance is key, and we're dedicated to helping that happen more every day.
Join us for tea and snacks, fun and friendship, firelight and warmheartedness you can feel. Everyone is welcome, meaning not women only. Older children or babies with parents, stopping by and running off, we know you may be on your way to other weekend things. It's casual. Cool socks are cool but not required.
Kindly RSVP (or to firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can send you the address, and so we know you are coming, by February 7th.
Looking forward to catching up with you.
